I wouldn’t say “sweeping the floor” really; two one-goal games is not sweeping, especially with the shot-count and the chance-count being the way they were, but hey, the win-count is what counts (and hurts).
The Schaefer hit was totally clean — some might even say “a beauty!” I hope Connolly is ok though, cause he didn’t look too good walking off the ice.
I was wondering when you were going to break the silence on this, and I hope for your sake that you didn’t speak too soon.
Duende; I thought I’d beat you to it, and congratulate you on the win and a
series well played.
(p.s. This is a ploy to hopefully shame you into being a gracious
winner; not that I don’t think you are, but I just can’t take any
gloating right now :) )
Zoss,
Gloat? Me, come on. I chose to revel in my triumph alone, modest, and unpretentious. (Not to say your flag-waving, smack talkin’ ways werent of the same choosing)
Overall, both teams played well; and if I must be completely fair, Ottawa was without Hasek (although I think offense wasn’t much help either).
Anywho-dinger, like Bobby McFerrin says, “dont worry, be happy.” :B

Are you seeing this, more importantly, believing it? Sabres sweeping the floor with the Senators. And we dont have to play like Schaefer to do it :B
