Well if the latter’s charitableness manifests itself in the form of a steady stream of flattering compliments, yes. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be so sure…

Like the whole and the donut they’d just be a mutually dependant couple. The narcissism is fulfilled by the altruist’s need to have the world revolve around someone else. So fun Times all round.

See guys, that’s what I originally thought too. But then the altruist went ahead in their selfless ways and tried to care for (*Gasp*) other people! A real narcissist wouldn’t take that sitting down, now would they? Suffice it to say, things are not looking so hot right now–I might keep you posted.
